The Big Pilot’s Watch 43 combines iconic design with superb movement technology and pronounced versatility in an ergonomic case diameter of 43 millimetres. No other model expresses the fascination of IWC Schaffhausen aviator’s watches like the Big Pilot’s Watch. Its purely functional cockpit-instrument design and oversized conical crown were inspired by a military observation watch from the 1940s. The Big Pilot’s Watch 43 is a faithful interpretation of this original design without any additional elements on the dial, and in a 43-millimetre stainless steel case that combines an amazing presence on the wrist with maximum wearing comfort. This model features a blue dial, rhodium-plated hands and a high-quality stainless steel bracelet with fine adjustment system and tapered shape for improved ergonomics. Visible through the sapphire glass case back is the IWC-manufactured 82100 calibre. The Pellaton winding system has been reinforced with ceramic components and builds up a power reserve of 60 hours. The practical EasX-CHANGE system and a choice of calfskin and rubber straps provide a high degree of flexibility. Combined with the now 10 bar water-resistant case, this transforms the Big Pilot's Watch 43 into a modern, fully versatile sports watch.
