A Hi-Beat 36000 dial that evokes the cool, flowing waters and tranquil landscape of Japan’s Genbi Valley.
Inspired by Japan’s lush Genbi Valley, a designated Place of Scenic Beauty and Natural Monument, this Grand Seiko luxury watch reflects the serene flow of the Iwai River in Iwate Prefecture, where Grand Seiko’s master craftsmen create its exceptional mechanical timepieces. The dial features a distinctive pressed pattern in light blue-green, capturing the refreshing movement and clarity of the valley’s early-summer waters through refined Japanese design.
At its heart is the Grand Seiko-exclusive Hi-Beat Caliber 9SA5, an advanced self-winding mechanical movement engineered for outstanding precision and performance. Featuring the innovative Dual Impulse Escapement and twin-barrel construction, it operates at a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour while delivering an impressive power reserve of approximately 80 hours when fully wound.
The case and bracelet are crafted from Ever-Brilliant Steel, a variation of "super" stainless-steel alloy known for its brilliance and outstanding corrosion resistance. The bracelet design has been equipped with a more dramatic taper and micro-adjustable clasp to enhance wearing comfort without use of tools.
Combining nature-inspired aesthetics, cutting-edge mechanical engineering, and superior materials, this Grand Seiko Hi-Beat luxury watch embodies the harmony of craftsmanship, innovation, and enduring elegance sought by discerning collectors.
